Vicksburg is rich in history and offers so many wonderful places to visit. We enjoyed our stay and especially the view of the MS River.

Up the hill: Vicksburg.
Eighteen furnished river homes. Stay a night, a week, or a month. Long stays of 28 nights or more are at least $3,000 a month. Guests do not have river access. Downtown is right above the property. The battlefield park is the other reason people come.

Downtown is right above the property. It is the walk once you are up the hill.
Vicksburg National Military Park
The national military park preserves the battlefield above town, with a tour road, the USS Cairo gunboat, and the national cemetery.
